We were awarded this contract by Fowler Building Contractors from Horsham, a major refurbishment was required as the Blind Veterans UK had moved from their older facilies in Ovingdean to this new beachside premises. As County Gutters are specialists in bespoke aluminium installaons, they needed a company who could complete all the requirements for this project. Choosing aluminium for this project was the logical choice, as well as the colours required it was the most suitable product as it strong, non-corrosive and gives a 30 year plus life expectancy with little maintenance.

Godalming College Sports Centre | Godalming, Surrey
Bullnose fascia, Trueline Soffit, bespoke 3mm box gutter.
After being contacted by the mains contractor Mostlane we were asked to visit the college and survey a failed guttering system which had parally fallen off. The original gutter had rear outlets with pipes which ran horizontally from the back of the system, the smallest blockage in the pipes would cause the gutter to fill creating immense weight, eventually if failed and fell off.

Scaplen's Court is a fifteenth century Grade I listed house in Poole, as a part of Poole Museum it is open to the public. The rear of the building had suffered storm damage after a tree fell onto the roof, the damage had snapped a section of the cast iron guttering off, County Gutters were contacted to see if any of the gutter could be repaired, after inspection the damage proved too large, all roof tiles and the all the guttering had to be removed.

Latchmere House | Richmond, London
Built in the mid 19th century Latchemere House was built as a private dwelling, it then changed hands and was purchased by the ministry of defence, it was used as a hospital for treating officers suffering from shell shock in the First World War. During the Second World War it was used as a detention and interrogation centre for enemy agents captured by MI5. After the war it was then used by the prison service for young offenders before becoming a men’s resettlement prison. If finally closed in 2013 and was sold to the private sector.

We were asked to quote on replacing all the gutters and roofline on this bungalow in Surrey, the system chosen was the Trueline fascia and soffit with a clip fit beaded half round gutter, a detailed site survey was then carried out, as this bungalow was built in the 1950’s all the fascia’s and soffits varied in sizes, all the roofline needed to be cut in on site proving to be a truly bespoke installation.

NHBC Wimborne | Wimborne, Dorset
County Gutters were contacted by the technical department of the NHBC, they had an architect designed oak framed building in Wimborne with serious water ingress problems. The design of the building incorporated a 600mm wide zinc lined gutter, the gutter ran along each side, continuing up and over the eaves, the gutter sat on a 50mm plywood base, this was supported by oak cross beams that ran through the building, due to movement in the oak through settlement, the gutter was not flowing correctly, water entered the building every time it rained.
