The Story: Installation of Seamless Aluminium Rainwater System at Hampshire Country House

County Gutters has successfully completed the installation of a high-performance rainwater system at a stunning country house in the heart of Hampshire. The property’s original cast iron gutters had reached the end of their lifespan, requiring a modern yet sympathetic replacement. To maintain the home’s classic aesthetic while improving functionality, the Mustang seamless aluminium gutter system was chosen. Featuring a 125mm ogee profile, this system offers a high-capacity, high-flow solution with runs of up to 35 metres, minimising the need for joints and reducing maintenance requirements. An optional aluminium grid leaf guard can also be incorporated for added protection against debris.

Complementing the elegant character of the property, 76mm round aluminium rainwater pipes were installed alongside large cast aluminium Merus hoppers, ensuring both durability and style. To enhance the home’s exterior, the entire system was finished in a crisp traffic white, creating a bright and uplifting appearance, particularly in natural sunlight. This project highlights County Gutters’ expertise in delivering seamless, low-maintenance rainwater solutions that blend traditional charm with modern efficiency, ensuring long-lasting protection for this beautiful Hampshire residence.
