Graylingwell Chapel, Chichester

The Story: County Gutters Completes Rainwater Installation for Graylingwell Chapel Restoration

Graylingwell Chapel in Chichester, West Sussex, has finally reopened to the public following an extensive restoration project. This historic community trust chapel has been carefully restored to preserve its original charm while incorporating modern additions, including a stunning new extension that now houses a welcoming coffee shop. As part of the redevelopment, County Gutters was contracted to install all the PPC aluminium gutters and rainwater pipes, ensuring a durable and visually sympathetic rainwater management system for this cherished building.

Our team worked meticulously to integrate the new rainwater goods with both the original chapel and the contemporary extension, striking a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Given the historic nature of the site, it was essential that our installation complemented the existing architecture while providing long-term protection against the elements. The use of PPC aluminium offers excellent durability and a low-maintenance solution, ensuring that the chapel and its new facilities remain in pristine condition for years to come. County Gutters is proud to have contributed to the restoration of this important community landmark, helping to safeguard its future while enhancing its functionality for visitors and local residents alike.
