The Story: County Gutters Transforms Guttering System at Cobham, Surrey Property
County Gutters was recently contacted to solve a persistent problem at a beautiful property in Cobham, Surrey. Built in 2019, the home had initially been fitted with a traditional uPVC ogee gutter system, which had caused ongoing issues with leaks and overflowing. The homeowners turned to County Gutters for a more reliable and long-lasting solution. After conducting a thorough survey and roof calculations to determine the correct system, the team recommended a high-performance Mustang ogee gutter system combined with 76mm Colonnade cast collar rainwater pipes.
In addition to the gutters and pipes, County Gutters also installed Flavia cast aluminium hoppers, some with decorative embellishments, to complement the property's aesthetic. The Mustang Aluminium Seamless Guttering system is made from recycled aluminium and boasts a lifespan of over 30 years. With its roll-formed design, custom-fit on-site to the building's exact dimensions, there are no joints, which significantly reduces the risk of future leaks. To further enhance the system, Alurex leafguard was added, providing a virtually maintenance-free solution for the homeowner. This "fit and forget" approach ensures peace of mind with a sustainable, long-term solution to the property's drainage challenges.
