The Project Details

The Chichester Guildhall in Sussex, a historic landmark, recently underwent a sensitive restoration to upgrade its rainwater system while maintaining its architectural integrity. County Gutters was contracted to replace all existing cast iron guttering with a durable yet visually appropriate alternative. The solution involved installing 150mm half-round PPC aluminium gutters, securely mounted on top rafter brackets to replicate the original system’s traditional style. This approach ensured the building retained its historic charm while benefiting from a modern, low-maintenance rainwater management solution. The entire installation was finished in RAL 9005 matt, providing a classic black appearance that blends seamlessly with the Guildhall’s exterior.
