Another property we have been awarded to change the guttering system on, this traditionally built property deserved more than upvc system installed, the upvc system had only been installed for 8 years but had constant problems due to shrinkage then leaking, the bay on the front had no gutter since the original cast iron had been removed. After contacting us we carried out a full survey and worked out some roof calculations for the correct size system to be installed.

The recommended system was the Mustang ogee gutter with 76mm Colonnade cast collar rainwater pipes, the bay window had Legion joggle jointed radius box gutter, the hoppers chosen were cast aluminium Mercury hoppers, with the addition of the date the house was built it gives a provenance to this fine building. This combination is very popular with houses of this style being functional but giving an attractive finish to the roofline. With a life expectancy of 30 years plus it gives this property a new lease of life with minimal maintenance over the years to come.
