Christchurch Christian Centre
The Story: Christchurch Christian Centre Benefits from Seamless Gutter Replacement in Dorset
The Christchurch Christian Centre, a beautiful and historic building in the heart of Christchurch, Dorset, was facing significant challenges with its deteriorating guttering system. The original cast iron guttering, which had served the building for many years, was now leaking and the rainwater pipes had become loose, posing a serious health and safety risk to the busy meeting centre's users. As a vital community space, the church needed urgent attention, but funding was limited, making it a complex issue to resolve.
After being contacted by the Reverend, County Gutters stepped in to offer a cost-effective solution. Thanks to additional support from Aluminium Roofline Products and the funds raised through numerous community coffee mornings, the project moved forward within the tight budget. The team installed a 125mm Mustang seamless aluminium gutter system, chosen for its durability and ability to be extruded in single runs, ensuring no joints and completely eliminating water ingress. The original cast iron rainwater pipes were replaced with 76mm square cast collar aluminium pipes, which maintained the building's heritage aesthetic. Specialising in heritage buildings, County Gutters' work on the Christian Centre not only enhanced the property’s functionality but also preserved its historic charm for future generations.
